We are holding a BAOR event at Norfolk Tank Museum, to celebrate 72 years of the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) in Germany, its particularly significant as the last BAOR/BFG units leave Germany by 2020 after 75 years! The plan is to have BAOR equipment, such as Chieftain, Centurion, Centurion AVRE, Saracen, 432, Saladin, Stalwart, Sultan and Scorpion, laid on by the museum, Backed up by vehicles up to Ferret size from private collectors (Up to 30 berths available)
Anyone wanting to set up stalls are encouraged.
There will be German beer tents, manned by German barmaid style staff and other German food stalls and a Dance night in a barn, with Rhine Army era music, if it goes well it could be a yearly event. 500 Tickets are available, and they are £30 each person for the whole weekend, If you would like to go then follow the event planner at the bottom of this page and put your name and E-mail address there, if you have multiple people going, you can use same E-mail address for each one.
